Using the mind to effectively create
Firstly we will look at the basic concept of how we create.
You are a being made up of three parts, mind, body and spirit. You create at three levels. First is thought, second is word, and third is action. Each aspect creates at one level, if you think, speak and act it will manifest in your reality.
The mind's role in this process is much like a computer, for example: a computer performs a series of logical and mathematical functions which produces a result for the person who inputs the command, like downloading an MP3 music file for your Ipod.
The mind works in much the same way. A human being inputs a thought into the mind and the mind produces a logical plan of action to deal with the thought. For example, if someone holds the thought that they have a lack of money then the mind will work overtime to generate ways and means of earning money. This train of thought might enable the person to create money but the underlying thought is still one of lack which will never bring true prosperity and freedom because the person will be constantly working to create money.
On the other hand if a person inputs the thought into their mind that the universe is a place of abundance and infinite supply, the mind will create in your reality abundance and supply of everything that you need. A positive and creative sponsoring thought will not only bring you the money but will manifest it in a much easier way.
That initial thought that you put into your mind is one of the most powerful things that create the reality in which you live. For example, if you lose your job and put the thought into your mind that everything is terrible and everything is going wrong then that is the reality that you will create in your life. By contrast if you put the thought into your mind that losing your job was meant to be and you’re going to get an even better job then your experience of losing your job will be many times easier and your chance of getting a new job will be many times higher because of your positive attitude.
In reality there are only two types of thoughts, ones that come from either fear or love. If you put thoughts into your mind which are based on any type of fear, then that is what you will create in your reality. By contrast if your initial thoughts are based on love then you will experience that in your reality.
Given how complex daily life can be this might sound simplistic but let us create a fictional scenario and see how it plays out. Your best friend starts shouting at you and accuses you of some terrible thing that you have not done. You now have a split second choice of how you’re going to deal with the situation. If you come from a place of fear then you are likely to shout back at your friend and make a difficult situation even worse. By contrast if you come from a place of love, then you will act lovingly towards your friend and calm the situation down and explain why the accusation cannot be true.
If your initial thought always comes from a place of love in every situation your life will become a process of moment to moment joy because you would know and understand that love is who you truly are.
So if you are faced with a difficult situation, approach it from a place of love and the outcome can only be one of love.
The mind also holds the memories and experiences of our lives which we access constantly throughout the day. If the memory that we access is a happy one then we will experience a happy feeling but if it’s a sad one then we will experience a sad feeling.
If you are experiencing bad memories then we can implement some strategies to deal with them. The mind operates like a computer and can to a point be deliberately programmed to work in a certain way.
When you next experience a bad memory and the resultant bad feeling from it, the best thing to do is consciously observe the initial thought. Then observe the memory that the thought generates and the physical feelings that it causes.
If you do this a few times then you can observe what is happening but not absorb it. You will begin to notice that you are the cause of your bad memory and have the power to end it. Just say to yourself that you notice the thought that accessed the bad memory and caused the bad feeling but don’t absorb it. This is much easier said than done but with a little perseverance this technique can make a big difference to your life.
I tell you this; in every moment and in every situation make your first thought one of love and the universe will return one of love. Love is what you truly are and the more you become of love the more you become of your self.
The mind is an awesome tool but we should remember that God designed it to be a divine supercomputer and its performance is based on what we put into it. A good example of the mind's limitations is Albert Einstein’s attempt at the end of his life to produce a mathematical formula for a “unified theory” or a “theory of everything”. Try as he might the greatest mind of the twentieth century could not pull it off.
The simple reason for this is that the mind cannot comprehend infinity. You have to be out of your mind to comprehend God. The mechanisms that God uses to create life can be quantified and expressed scientifically but the soul can only understand and fully comprehend God.
But you should always remember that the universe in an infinite place with an infinite number of life forms so never underestimate what could be!
If you can envision it then you can create it. Make it a great creation.
